are set to see two of
their midfielder stars
leave the club in deals
that are thought to
generate around £60
million in possible
transfer budget for
manager Arsene Wenger
and with only a small
amount of time left in
which the Frenchman can
add to his squad this
summer, it seems that he
is already set to replace
captain Cesc Fabregas.
The requirement to
replace Spanish
international and club
captain Fabregas comes
after the Arsenal
club finally accepted a
£35 million offer from
European champions
Barcelona, putting an
end to one of the longest
running transfer saga’s in
football history.
The club have official
revealed that the move
raised from the sale of
Fabregas will be instantly
reinvested into the squad
in order to improve on
their Premier League
standing amid clubs such
as Manchester United,
and Manchester
City gearing up for
another battle for the
league title this season.
